Senior Management Position in top inland marina services and hospitality company is taking resumes from qualified, experienced marina managers. This position is at the premier southern California fishery, Diamond Valley Lake, Riverside County. The applicant will have 5 years of verifiable experience in all aspects of marina operations including rental fleet, shore facilities, water patrol, gate/parking management, and staff supervision of a highly visible public agency concession. Budget responsibility $1M annual revenues. CMM credentials considered a plus.
Position includes responsibility for ensuring the drinking water of Diamond Valley Lake is protected from sources of pollution and degradation due to recreation activities. Applicants will be knowledgeable regarding recommended practices to limit or control the spread of aquatic nuisance species. In particular, the applicant will have been trained as a level 1 inspector (DFG or Pacific Marine Fisheries) for quagga/zebra mussel response planning.

• Implement and enforce marina rules and regulations consistently with all slip holders, guests and contractors, and properly report all incidents and accidents.
• Assist in the implementation and coordination of the company safety program.
• Administer environmental emergency and hazmat handling and disposal policies, regulations and procedures.
• Implement and supervise all daily, weekly and monthly maintenance of designated landside areas and facilities, and the marina docks as required to meet established Facility Standards and Preventative Maintenance Programs.
• Conduct dock maintenance and repairs including concrete patch and repairs, wood deck repairs, rub rail, bumper and floatation repairs.
• Conduct building repairs including dry wall, patch and installation, moldings, carpet repairs, tile and vinyl floors, lock repairs and the operation of a key machine.
• Assist customers and employees with boating needs and skills.
• Coordinate and provide 24-hour on-call emergency service.
Additional Qualifications:
• Boat handling skills and knowledge.
• Five or more years of relevant work experience. Management or supervisory experience preferred. Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Must be familiar with the safe use and operation of all industry related power tools including saws, drills, sanders, planers, routers, roto-hammers, nail guns, jackhammers, drain machines etc.
• Must have a valid California Drivers License and a good driving record.

Equipment
The concrete walkway dock itself is in poor condition and most will be completely demolished. There are some fingers that may be reusable. The dock will be cut in lengths of about 20 feet and moved to a staging area near 7th Avenue & Brommer St. intersection, located about 2 miles from Highway 1 (Soquel Avenue exit).

Equipment: Small Craft Harbor Dock Materials for Free
FREE FREE FREE. Demolition of J Dock in the upper harbor of the Santa Cruz Port
District will begin approximately March 2006. About 4,000 linear feet
of dock and flotation system will be available. The flotation is in excellent condition, like new, no water intrusion. It is made of expanded polystyrene and encapsulated in concrete about 1
inch thick on all sides except under the deck. Each float is at least 4 feet wide (fingers) or 7 feet wide (main walkway) and 7 feet long (variable). The depth varies from 2 - 3 feet.
